Every once in a while I go on some sort of kick where I feel i need to reorganize things and move furniture around. I haven't done anything for awhile, but now I have a plan to get our leather recliner up in our bedroom, I love that chair and its a rocker, I want a place to sit and read in the bedroom. So I have decided to move the big armoir that takes up the most room into the guest bedroom, which also means reorganizing all of our closets and my clothes and shoes especially. I like doing these types of things, of course it is hard to do when Nash wants to crawl around all the time, hopefully I can get a lot done this evening when he goes to bed. And by the weekend I'm hoping to have a nice big comfy chair in our bedroom, that will finally get some use.
A lot of crazy things have been happening in AZ this week, the new immigration law, went into effect last night at midnight, there was a helicopter crash in midtown near houses, 3 people died, so sad, 3 officers got shot in Phoenix last night and one died, not exactly sure what that was related too, but very sad either way. This week has been a fast one, and Thursday seem to always fly by.
Nothing planned this weekend, I still have not had a chance to rearrange and organize the guest room, I really need to do that, especially since the girls will be here in a couple of weeks.
Might as well get to it while I'm on my re-organization kick! :) And before I start PT...don't think i could hurt my back any worse then it already is :) Looks like bath days are going to have to move to when Luke is home, because I hurt to much to try and give Nash a bath tonight.

thank goodness for good insurance
I'm so relieved that Luke has good insurance coverage, after going to the doctor yesterday to have him look at my back, he gave me a diagnosis and a prescription and referral for physical therapy.
I really wanted to do the therapy so I was relieved to find out my insurance covers it and I just have a co-pay. I' m eager to get started with it, because I have been in pain and complaining for what seems like forever. And to think I was just going to deal with the pain and hope that it would go away. I'm just glad it was nothing that required an x-ray or MRI...I love our family doctor, glad we finally have one.
I haven't started the prescription yet because it apparently causes drowsiness, so I will wait until dinner time tonight to take some.
Finally going to get back into a workout routine after taking this last month off. And I would like to get back to riding my bike again, but the afternoon/evening monsoons, may make that a little bit difficult. Got some funny video last night of Nash, that I need to post up on FB for my mom.
This week is definitely going sooo much better then last week, very happy about that. As usual staying busy at work, especially since Erika has been out two days this week.
Back to the grind for now.

Finally the rain and cloudy weather has arrived
Finally some relief from the heat, we have been getting rain and lots of cloudy days and it is really nice for a change. Of course it makes it that much harder to get up and out of bed in the mornings, but definitely a lot cooler then had been. Busy day yesterday at work, I imagine today will be another one, I like that, makes working a lot easier. Finally have my doc appointment today for my back, really hoping he will be able to tell me what the problem is and hopefully fix it without having to do some kind of MRI or X-ray. I can't even give Nash a bath it hurts so bad.
Only 22 more days, and the girls will be here and we are off to San Diego, I just can't wait.
Got a good amount of stuff for Nash for his birthday this past weekend. It's so hard not to give that stuff to him right now, but I want him to have the best 1st birthday EVER!
This week is definitely going better then last week. I hope it continues to go that way, according to our fortunes from the Pei Wei fortune cookies last night, green is our lucky color this week, I hope that is true!
Nash is getting so big, Luke taught him how to clap, so now he is clapping a lot, he has gotten in the habit of pulling himself up on stuff but then just letting go and falling, not good, we need to get him a helmet, because our floors are too hard for his little head.
I need to order the gate for the top of the stairs, so much to do, baby proofing is not something I have been looking forward too.

worst week
This week really seems like one of the worst weeks I have had in a long time. Yesterday was the pretty bad...but today is another day and this day is almost over and it's not so bad.
Finally after 8 months made a doctors appointment to get my back looked at. I'm hoping Doctor Yim can tell me why I have been having such terrible pain and leg pain. I know that my terrible fall back when Nash was barely a month old, definitely had something to do with it.
Luke is getting to play golf today, luckily it was for free, and we have a new babysitter watching him for a couple hours until I get home.
It's sure a good thing that tonight at mid-night is pay day...that's one good thing this week.
This whole refinancing better be worth all the hassle and stress it has been putting me through.
Good think Mr. Nash can always make me laugh, he is so wild, love him!
Really, can't wait for the girls to come out here for our trip.
Not sure yet when we are going to make it back home for the holidays, at this point it is going to be late January or February, maybe I will try to be home for my 30th birthday. Hopefully air fare will be low by then. It would be nice to be able to go out to the bars with everyone and enjoy my birthday, but we will see what happens. Right now it all depends on the prices.
It looks like if the Gossett side comes out it won't be until after New Years...kind of bummed about that, thought they would be here for Christmas...Oh well, I am looking forward to putting the tree up this year...hopefully I can find room for it and Nash doesn't knock it over or take all of the ornaments off of it. He will hopefully be walking by then, at the rate he is moving, it seems like it could be any day.

Sponge Bob
I spent the whole weekend inside watching back to back episodes of Sponge Bob with Nash. He gets a huge grin on his face when the show starts. It is so cute how much he just loves it.
We had a pretty good weekend, low key, got some cleaning done, relaxed, it finally rained on Saturday night,l we definitely need lots more of that. Nothings going on this week, just working, really looking forward to my girls trip, just a month away. I can't wait, I'm really in dire need of it.
I haven't had a full on girls trip in forever. Shopping, drinking, beach, DMB...it doesn't get much better then that.
This summer is just flying by, another month and school will be starting backup for the kids, I'm gonna start looking at Daycare centers for Nash once he turns a year old. There is a place near my work, that I'm hoping will work out, although I hate to take him away from Maria, I know she likes having him and he likes being there with all the girls.
No luck yet with the part time job search, it really is tougher then I thought to find a part time job. I really hoping I don't have to follow through with it. We are in the process of re-financing our mortgage to take advantage of the low rates and hopefully that will save us just a little bit of money that it will be worth it.

tough times
Tough times right now, not exactly very exciting. I miss being able to go out to eat at the drop of a hat and really enjoying it and looking forward to it.
Now every week I'm digging through recipes, trying to come up with a good meal 6 nights a week, does anyone really even cook 6 nights a week still. And the one night I don't cook, we eat leftovers.
I have enjoyed getting better at cooking and trying some new things and I think Luke is proud of me and I definitely know he is surprised with some of the things I have been whipping up lately.
It's only temporary, the paycuts, the economy, the no shopping or indulging in ice cream or Nico's Mexican Food. The shopping 6 months ahead of time to make sure my son has a good 1st birthday and great Christmas. It's all worth it! The sacrifices we make to get by. Never thought it would be like this. It's not the end of the world yet, but it sure sometimes feels like it. The hunt for more income is on and has been for the past week or so. Depressing as that is, who really can't use more money, this whole win the lottery thing just isn't working :) At least not yet.

good weekend ahead
This week has gone by so fast...and it couldn't be hotter and more gross outside. Hopefully we get a little bit of a break for the 4th to enjoy the fireworks. Was just reminded that we have Monday off...so that is a big plus! Although I have plans to keep busy inside the house most of the weekend I hope it doesn't go by too fast. July should be a pretty easy going month, we have no big plans which sometimes is nice for a change. Nash is changing so much everyday, he looks like such a big kid in his crib, sometimes I think he is older then almost 8 months. More like 2 years old instead. Everything is going good for Luke and I...no complaints. Thinking about possibly planning a trip to Florida maybe next spring, I don't think I have enough time to get down there for the fall with Nash's b-day it's too close and stuff going on in September...buy maybe we can swing it, it would be nice to go to the beach. For once I am not stressing about having to buy airfare to get us home for Christmas...I think we will plan on going back in January, hopefully after fares have dropped a little and maybe we can stay a little longer then usual. Always needing to plan something :)
