Countdown

I like how there is a clock on the MSN new page counting down the hours to a possible government shut down. It makes it seem like it is a count down to dooms day. Very timely after Luke and I just watched a show last night about the Apocalypse and how there are all these people that are preparing with underground bunkers and building into the side of mountains. People are paying millions of dollars for these things. And all the websites out there where you can get supplies, like Nuke suits and gas masks and 4 year supply of boxed food. Very scary to think about and then I wonder what are these people going to think when nothing happens in 2012, and what are they going to do? Wait for the big comet that is suppose to hit Earth in 2046? I don't like to think about it, it makes me anxious, but I could go both ways. There was one man who believes at 11:11 am on 12/21/12 is when the world will end, and he thinks by jumping off Bell Rock in Sedona, AZ that will save the Earth. He obviously is going to die by doing this whether the Earth ends or not.
My question was what time zone at 11:11am are we talking about here. He seemed very adamant about his beliefs...Luke and I and Brewski hiked up Bell Rock, it was beautiful, but I would never think of jumping off of it. Such weirdos!
We are suppose to have a date night tonight and go see a movie, but Luke hasn't been feeling well and has took the past 2 days off work. I think he is milking the no dogs, no Nash and no wife at home to bother him, plus the Masters is on. He felt good enough to order a pizza, so I think he is doing just fine. Hopefully he will be up for going to see a movie after dinner at my Mom's.
I have been so busy at work lately, a lot of people asking me to do a lot of things, it's nice, but I feel like I am working hard for no money...if only our pay cuts could be diminished and go back to normal and if only Luke didn't have to continue furlough days...with gas going up and Luke having to use the more expensive gas for his car, things could get really tight again really fast. And our so called idea of going to San Diego for a family get-away might just be a dream. But it looks like we will get to go to the Pima County fair next weekend, I hope Nash will get to see some farm animals and maybe even pet some, I think he would just love it.
