Last night was just weird, I kept hearing what sounded like someone shutting a car door, but it was happening too often for that to make sense, then I heard a louder sound and thought someone was in house, I woke Luke up and made him go check, had my cell phone in hand and ready to call 911 and thinking about my escape route out Nash's window in the front, that is how positive I was that someone was in the house... but nothing. He left the back outside light on and I tried to go back to sleep, but I kept hearing it...then I heard another loud sound, and Bobby heard it too, so I know I wasn't crazy. Woke Luke up again and he went and checked...and nothing.
Then just as I was trying to close my eyes, I opened them and see this weird light shining right at our sliding door off the balcony into our bedroom, at first I thought car lights, but then realized that was impossible, so I got up and looked, but I didn't see anything. It almost looked like some pointed a flash light and was waving it around like crazy.
I thought it could be our neighbors behind us and their kids being stupid, but who knows.
I heard the thud sound again this morning as I was walking down the stairs, I really can't figure out what it is. It doesn't seem to be inside the house and I can't hear it through Nash's baby monitor and I can hear almost everything through that monitor when I have it turned up loud.
I know I'm not crazy, but I'm positive Luke thought I was, he sleeps through anything.
Needless to say it was quite a sleepless night for me. And maybe, just maybe our house is haunted :)
I arrived to the sitters this morning, and they weren't up yet, I hate when that happens. Little Sophia was so cute, because it was still dark out, she said..it's still night time.
We have Emily watching Nash for us for a few hours tonight so that we can go to a party for a good friend of ours. Looking forward to it, but I don't see us being there very late, with Luke having to work tomorrow morning and me already tired and the day has barely started :(
And then we have another party next Friday..busy, busy.
